About us:

Our family has been immersed in mountain horseback guiding every chance we get. Enjoying the scenery and experiencing all that the rugged Canadian "High Rock Range" offers from the back of a horse, is something we cherish and seek to share that with our guests. We look forward sharing our love for the beautiful southern Alberta Rockies, the bits of history the area has to offer having been packed for more than a century, and a glimpses in to the heart of the Creator who is powerful enough speak the ecosystems into design and yet is caring enough to make a way for friendship with Him.

The journey began as a mixed farmer kid and logger's son, while cutting acres of barley and feed on a farm on the border to the north in Saskatchewan, my interest and desire sought to be on horseback in the mountains. Dreams do happen for some; as a 15 year old was a guest on a packtrip (close to our present area) that experienced weather that should have driven most away, but kindled a love for the challenge that extended trips have to offer. I returned as 16year old and staffed for more than a decade: 4 months in the bush per year, guiding whitewater raft, hiking summits, climbing & rappelling rock faces, and leading 7 or 8 packtrips per summer. We lead from those nearly 3 decades of experience, building on it to offer the best experience you can find! We both have led both horse back and outdoor adventure in Australia, and while starting our family we hung up the pack saddles and cowboyed a 70,000 acres ranch in the Cariboo's of BC on a 1865 ranch, and then a long established ranch in AB as well.  Throw some hunting trips and outfitting opportunities in to round out the wilderness expeditions and we are well established to help you live your dreams and outfit your adventures!
